On July 8, ASOK held its first online investment webinar and counseling sessions on investing in the US in the post-coronavirus era in collaboration with the Korea Chamber of Commerce.  Being the first webinar held since the COVID-19 outbreak, the webinar started of by Mr. Cho Seok Soon's welcoming speech followed up by Mississippi, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Washington, Wisconsin's presentation on state investment environments and specialized industries. June 24, 2020  Invited by the Hancom Group, the U.S. Embassy in Korea Commercial Office and ASOK visited Cheongrium in Gapyeong for a Network Dinner. 

ASOK 30th Anniversary Reception  The Association of American State Offices in Korea invited heads of major industrial organizations including KOTRA, Korea Chamber of Commerce and Trade, including U.S. Ambassador to Korea Harry Harris,  Gregory Briscoe Senior Commercial Officer in Seoul and Commercial Officer Tipten Troidl, to hold a luncheon on January 15 at COEX Intercontinental Hotel in Seoul. At the event, Chairman Cho Seok-soon presented a plaque of appreciation to the U.S. Ambassador to Korea, Harry Harris.

On January 12, 2017, U.S. Ambassador to Korea Mark Lippert received an appreciation plaque from the Association of American State Offices in Korea (Chair, Hyun-Sook Kim) for his persistent/successful efforts to create business opportunities between the United States and Korea. ASOK is the only U.S. State-level organization in Korea, consisting of seventeen U.S. State government offices.
