The Association of American State Offices in Korea (ASOK) co-hosted the 2024 US investment seminar with the Federation of Middle Market Enterprises of Korea (FOMEK) and KOTRA on September 10.

The event was attended by Korean mid-sized companies planning to expand into the US, as well as local representatives of US state, city, and county offices and officials from the U.S. Embassy.

During the event, introductions of representatives from 16 major US regions were conducted. The U.S. Embassy also provided an overview of the 2024 U.S. investment support program, while KOTRA's M&A team presented case studies of M&As involving US companies. G-P(Globalization Partners) outlined HR strategies for entering the US market, leading to in-depth discussions on US investments for Korean mid-sized companies.

Furthermore, during the 1:1 sessions that followed, Korean companies had the opportunity to address any questions they had regarding US investments.
